Why is Rhodium Coating Done?  Rhodium plating is used to enhance the luster and durability of metals such as silver and white gold, providing a smooth, shiny finish to jewelry. Since real gold jewelry is quite expensive, many people consider 1-gram gold jewelry a practical alternative for seasonal purchases.  How & Why do we Measure this?  As the name suggests, imitation jewelry is not the original gold jewelry.
